5 Little Lambs

SAMSUNG CSC When everything else fails crafting is your ticket out. Today I spent some time working on a baby lamb mobile for my friends little boy. Even though the black sheep came out looking more like a black cat I still think it looks pretty cute. SAMSUNG CSC SAMSUNG CSC SAMSUNG CSC SAMSUNG CSC

Spray that s**t everywhere

This old glass vase of mine had a little crack in but I wasn’t going to give it up just jet – nothing that couple coats of spray paint would not fix.

What’s next on your spray paint list ?

Make the day count

I stumbled up on this page the other day 100happydays.com and it was exactly what I needed. A reminder that every day has something to offer and that you just need to crab it and hold onto the feeling and why not make a memory of it as you go along.

Day 17  – I decided to go to bed early. Something that i don’t really usually do, but should. I had a nice proper sleep and woke up early to Day 18

Day 19 – Not many things make me happier than a bit of a DIY.  You can read more about it on Denim Shirt Blingover.
Day 20 – I got very happy news about my cousin welcomed a cute healthy baby boy to the world. Got to love the babies.Day 21 – This was an overall awesome day. So me and D decided to celebrate it with some cocktails.

Day 22 – Another little DIY I made for our patio area. No worries, you will see it all soon!

Day 23 – Woolen sock party. Our flat gets pretty cold so we love us some handmade woolen sock. These two pairs we are rocking are made by my mom.

Day 24 – I am this silly and lazy little girl who doesn’t make time to have breakfast in the mornings. This day I decided to start the day the right way.

Day 25 – A browesome day, because I went to the salon and got my brows fixed.

Personalized Shower Curtain

I had this cute piece of fabric and I had big plans for it. I also had to face the facts and tell to myself that I am not as awesome in sewing to make these big plans come true yet. So I tried to find other ways to incorporate it into my little nest and came up with an idea to spice up my plain bathroom with it.

When we moved in I bought some very cheap shower curtains for a shop similar to dollarstore. I think they cost about 1,50 euros each and were just as thin as cheap. Now since I had one of those left I thought it would be perfect to use for this DIY.

So I sew the fabric onto the shower curtain. As I said before my sewing is quite crap right now (work in process) so it is far from perfect, but the bathroom looks still so much better.

Down here you can see how it looks on both sides.

I think it is pretty good for a transitional shower curtain – well this is what I like to think as I’m waiting anxiously for us to have our own place.

What have you done to spice up your place lately?Hope this Monday will not be too blue for you!

Button Tin

In the midst of a cleaning marathon I decided to amuse myself with a tiny craft idea.
I covered this old chai latte tin with some advertisements from a really old Grazia magazine.
I attached it with some glue at first and finished it of with transparent sticker to give it this glossy and durable top coat.

Hope you are having a crafty weekend!

Birthday Present Preparations

SAMSUNG CSCD is having a Birthday coming up and I started to prep for it today. I decorated this little black box with dried roses with the help of some hot glue. Turned out to be quite cute and yet not too girly. SAMSUNG CSC SAMSUNG CSC

Tip for December

My quick tip for December is for those of you who don’t want to go crazy with buying decorations. Use your old jewellery like bracelets and necklaces.
