I stumbled up on this page the other day 100happydays.com and it was exactly what I needed. A reminder that every day has something to offer and that you just need to crab it and hold onto the feeling and why not make a memory of it as you go along.
Day 17 – I decided to go to bed early. Something that i don’t really usually do, but should. I had a nice proper sleep and woke up early to Day 18
Day 19 – Not many things make me happier than a bit of a DIY. You can read more about it on Denim Shirt Blingover.
Day 20 – I got very happy news about my cousin welcomed a cute healthy baby boy to the world. Got to love the babies.Day 21 – This was an overall awesome day. So me and D decided to celebrate it with some cocktails.
Day 22 – Another little DIY I made for our patio area. No worries, you will see it all soon!
Day 23 – Woolen sock party. Our flat gets pretty cold so we love us some handmade woolen sock. These two pairs we are rocking are made by my mom.
Day 24 – I am this silly and lazy little girl who doesn’t make time to have breakfast in the mornings. This day I decided to start the day the right way.
Day 25 – A browesome day, because I went to the salon and got my brows fixed.

Have a peaceful Sunday!S.
…it has been raining non-stop!
Yesterday I made myself a nutritious brunch before heading to work so I would have lots of energy. The sandwiches in the middle are a walk down the memory lane. We would make these always with my sister when I was little. The recepie, yes recepie! came from a Winny the Pooh Cookbook and the dish was called Viuvops. There’s only two components – black bread and cheese. You simply put the cheese between two slices of black bread, cut them half so that you will have to triangles and fry both sides a little bit. For a little girl it was a pretty big thing, I remember.
So today I was suprised with a breakfast in bed, all same ingredients, same layout, only the bread wasn’t fried. And I was like, wait, what?!
Ain’t things like this the ones that just make your day?!
Morning glory with muesli pancakes. My way of kicking headache’s ass and getting some energy to get things done around here.
Oh, I wish. In this case it’s more like “posts gone bad” or “best before: long gone”. Just to prove that I am taking pictures every now and then and think about my blog, even if I can’t find the time to work on it.
Besides, if i would have taken a weekly photos, it would have been all baggy undereyes, grumpy face, hundred of pizzas and even more energydrinks – sounds horrible, I know. But now that it’s over I’m hoping to get back on business over here and who knows, maybe there will be a week in photos after all.
Have a lovely day!
Here’s a hint from the morning when I was planning my week.
After I painted my soles red I realized that I don’t own anything red. Or at least nothing came to mind. So I decided to make myself something red. I also found alot of shoes that can be turn into something cool.
Yesterday I bought some bleach, so hopefully this week I will make one project with that happen aswell. I thought about this for a long time, but somehow always forgot to get the bleach. Go figure. What else…
Oh yeah, probably something with jars, cuz i’ve been putting some aside.
Now let’s pray that I’ll actually finish all these things I have in mind for this week.
On Sunday we had a little get together with my family. Everything turned out great, we had some wine, talked to each other in all the languages we know, made a nice lunch afterwards and took a little get-to-know-your-hometown trip. Mom brought me some sprinlgy flowers from their garden and dad put a lavender-coloured paint on our bathroom walls, sun was shining and everything was beautiful, until it started snowing?!? I think this was the best april fools prank I ever got. “Hey, look, it’s springtime – NOT!” So thank you weatherman! I’ll be sitting at home dreaming about warmer weather now, cuz you know what they say – what you think about, you bring about!
Sleeping in should be my middle name, it seems. I always shut down the alarm from my phone and think I’ll sleep another 5 minutes. This ofcourse turns into an hour or so. I just sleep until it’s too damn late. It’s such an irritating habbit to have, ruining the thought of whole day.
You open your eyes, first thing you see is blue sky and sun peeking in, breakfast in bed handed to you and when you finally check the time everything turns around and you realize: “I’m doomed!”
Mission of the day: Get myself an alarm clock which actually cares if I get up in the morning or is just loud or pretty enough.
