Used all the jars I’ve been collecting for storageing tea and finished them off with very simple labels. Also put sugar in one of the bigger ones and painted the cocoa box white to reuse it – now it’s a nest for the buckwheat.
Cleaned up one wine bottle and changed the cork with one of these alcohol pouring nozzles you usually see in the bars and I believe I got myself one simple but yet so nice oil bottle. Sure looks better than a original oil plastic bottles on my kitchen counter.
Make use for those jars sitting in the corner – storage for smaller things.
As I wrote earlier I need places to put stuff so I turned couple of jars little bit happier and voila
I painted the yellow one from the inside and white one outside. Gonna make more of these for sure.
I’m sure you guys have Nutella hidden somewhere in your kitchen! Now if you are as much of a sweettooth that I am, then it shouldn’t be a problem to empty your half full jar quickly and turn it into a centerpiece with some other old jars that you have been keeping for … well, just incase.
If that’s not the case, then your welcome, I just gave you a good reason to go and buy yourself one.
Truth to be told it doesn’t matter what kind of jar you have. Because jars are amaizing and that’s that.
Here’s what I used. Nutella jars, some leftover ribbon from the chain-bracelet project and decoration salt and ofcourse some candles, tea candles in my case. Decoration salt wasn’t my first choice, I was thinking about more earthy materials like sand or small rocks but our living room purple curtains are hypnotising.
I felt so proud of myself yesterday. Despite of the drinking flu (cuz we finally went out the night before) 😛 I got so many things done. Including one bleach project and one jar project, that I had planned for myself for last week, so yay! May it be cuz I went from “to do” and “must do” lists over to “just do it” list? But ofcourse there always alot more to do. And today’s “just do it” list contains blog entries about these things aswell.
Have a lovely day, everyone!
Here’s a hint from the morning when I was planning my week.
After I painted my soles red I realized that I don’t own anything red. Or at least nothing came to mind. So I decided to make myself something red. I also found alot of shoes that can be turn into something cool.
Yesterday I bought some bleach, so hopefully this week I will make one project with that happen aswell. I thought about this for a long time, but somehow always forgot to get the bleach. Go figure. What else…
Oh yeah, probably something with jars, cuz i’ve been putting some aside.
Now let’s pray that I’ll actually finish all these things I have in mind for this week.
For this tiny project I used:
- leftover bathroom wall paint
- paint brush
- skinny jar
I covered the jar with the paint two times and rempved the tape, once the paint was dry.
And this is why I needed it.
Sorry, the lighting in our bathroom is horrible for taking pictures, flash doesn’t help either.
So I started kind of a spring-cleaning today, tho it started to snow pretty hard again. To be honest I hoped a little bit that I can pack most of winter stuff and just make more space, but I guess I have to put this thought on hold for a while.
I tried to rearrange my room, but it turned out harder than planned. Partly cuz I have a tiny room and partly cuz I have a very heavy couch and it didn’t really want to cooperate with me. Pushing and pulling it back and forth for couple of hours gave me a quite good workout and I needed it, so all good in the end.
I also made smaller updates. Like changing the ribbons on my jars and the contents.
So I have nail polishes in one, earrings in the second and bracelets in the third one now. Oh them lil things just get a tiny smile on my face :).
