Since the spring is decided not to come to our town and I am tired of wearing my winter boots I altered my rain boots while I felt I will be using them for couple of weeks to come.
To begin with I had these cheap leopard print wellies. I didn’t think of them much but I had them around just in case.
I used a hole buncher to have the holes for the ribbon to go through but since the ribbon was much wider than the hole I made two holes under one another to give the ribbon more space.
What do you think?
I don’t know about you but I’m a tiny bit too obsessed about menswear. When ever we get a new delivery in the shop I always find something awsome from the men’s department and never pay enough attention to ladies.
That’s why I was so excited when we found these new boots for him yesterday. They look so effortlessly cool. These can be easily worn to different styles.
Also shopping style for men is really different from the ladies. Even though we went to probably 10 different shops it only took us about half an hour to find the perfect ones. And probably about 3 minutes to confirm the purchase. By the way it was the last shoe shop we had on the way. Now that’s what I call a skill.
Finally I can feel the spring arriving – days are longer, sun is shining, birds are singing, my mood is rising and new cute shoes are finding their way to my wardrobe.
Oh, I wish. In this case it’s more like “posts gone bad” or “best before: long gone”. Just to prove that I am taking pictures every now and then and think about my blog, even if I can’t find the time to work on it.
Besides, if i would have taken a weekly photos, it would have been all baggy undereyes, grumpy face, hundred of pizzas and even more energydrinks – sounds horrible, I know. But now that it’s over I’m hoping to get back on business over here and who knows, maybe there will be a week in photos after all.
Have a lovely day!
Took my lovely red shoes for a walk on a beatiful day.
It’s already Thursday and here’s my almost-ready first project of this week, still better than nothing I say! I still need to find a product to cover the paint, cuz right now they simply can not be cleaned without washing the paint off. But i was eager to share my new red babies anyway.
I like that there’s still a hint of those darker lines.
At first I covered the white bordering with red paint too, aswell the bow’s, but that looked too plain. At the same time I didn’t want to go back to white, I removed some of the paint with nailpolish remover, so that they would have a little bit, bleached, worn out look.
Any ideas for covering?
Here’s a hint from the morning when I was planning my week.
After I painted my soles red I realized that I don’t own anything red. Or at least nothing came to mind. So I decided to make myself something red. I also found alot of shoes that can be turn into something cool.
Yesterday I bought some bleach, so hopefully this week I will make one project with that happen aswell. I thought about this for a long time, but somehow always forgot to get the bleach. Go figure. What else…
Oh yeah, probably something with jars, cuz i’ve been putting some aside.
Now let’s pray that I’ll actually finish all these things I have in mind for this week.
The wall on the background is a project from a day before, bye bye little ducks!
Been having an unexpectadly productive day today. First went to get myself stuff for christmas cards. I decided this year, since i haven’t been the best friend and haven’t seen some of my darlings for a long time, the least i can do is give them something made with my own hands and wishes straight from my heart. So it’s been a big cardfactory here today. While i was getting my stuff i also checked if there are any boots in the store since I have nothing to wear with this kind of weather we have over here lately and I can’t seem to find any from anywhere. What I did find, was these awesome Ecco shoes from a second hand shop, but sadly they were too big for me ( this is something new to me, i really think my feet have shrinked a lil’ bit ). So if someone is lucky to have even bigger feet than me :D, take your time to go to this shop in Haapsalu on Lihula mnt and get yourself something extrachill with just 1,5€.
